Five, twelve-day residential academies will be offered during the summer of 2020 for selected students who have shown an interest in and passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (�鶹��) and have career aspirations to become a commercial pilot.

At the Virginia Tech session of BLAST (Building Leaders for Advancing Science and Technology), eighth and ninth graders learned about groundwater hydrology, volcanic hazards, physics, civil and environmental engineering, biomechanics and coding.
