Dial-up configurations instructions for

Step 1
From Start, choose Control Panel
Step 2
Select Network and Internet Connections
Step 3
Click the Set up or change your Internet connection icon

Step 4
From the Connections tab, select the Setup button

Click Next
Step 6
Select Connect to the Internet, then click Next

Step 7
Select Set up my connection manually, then click Next

Step 8
Select Connect using a dial-up modem, then click Next

Step 9
In the ISP Name box, type xixnet.com to identify your connection.
then click Next
Step 10
In the Phone number box, type in your local access number and click Next
Step 11
In the User name box, type in your dial-up login id.
make sure you use your dial-up account number and the realm for the network you are on as the username! such as xaa042@g-dial.us
Click Next.
Step 12
Check the box to Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop. Select the Finish button.
